I love the way my hand just wants to curl around these pebbles, and the B&W is great! Have you ever tried doing a duotone withrocks? The subtle colours might bring out depth and tiny differences between each rock... Makes me want to go out to one of my favourite places, Birdlings Flat, which is an East Coast beach just south of Christchurch, made up entirely of flat, smooth pebbles like this. Yum.

thank you for your kind comments. This is actually a straight scan of the original Ilford B&W. I have since developed it myself in the darkroom and made the print must more constrasty - which I like. I have thought of a duotone and will give it ago.
